DescriptionExciting opportunity for a Controller to work with a growing, financially healthy company.
OPPORTUNITY

RESPONSIBILITIES
** Will work hands-on with the full staff in the company
** Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the accounting and control function, reports operational results and ensures the company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.
** Provides strong leadership in company financial planning and budget management functions.
** Prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to top management.
** Reports to the company President
** Supervision of one general accounting staff member
QUALIFICATIONS
** BS in Accounting or similar with an MBA a plus.
** CPA or CPM certification
** Minimum 7 years experience, at least 2 of which are in a heavy manufacturing environment.
** Familiar with inventory accounting, costing, and management.
** Exceptional analytical skills, particularly around product profitability, cost productivity, and Balance Sheet utilization.
** Ability to see the big picture yet be close to the details.
** Demonstrated ability to manage staff.
** Demonstrated ability to partner with non-financial leaders (Plant manager and staff) to produce results.
