Extrusion Manager Job in Mississauga Ontario (ON)

Multi-site international company is seeking a Extrusion Manager for one of their locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
** Supervision of the extrusion presses, 5 direct reports and 75+ employees
** Supervision of the die shop including the Die Shop Supervisor
** Reports directly to the Plant Manager
** Works with production staff on process improvements
** Production planning concerning shifts, crews and scheduling
** Manages departmental budgets
** Cost reductions involving evaluating, purchasing and installation of equipment that reduces cost or improves quality
** Ensures environmental and government regulation compliance and safety regulations
** Oversees process improvements
** Ability to work with deadlines, and possess critical thinking skills along with good oral and written communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS
** Minimum 10 years of experience in management of an aluminum extrusion department
** Degree not required but preferred
** Experience in process improvements, cost reductions, and employee relations
** Experienced lean manufacturing and continuous improvements
