A leading manufacturer of plastic and paper packaging products is seeking 3 highly motivated Shift Supervisors to join their team. Our first, second and third Shift Supervisors are held responsible for the safe and efficient operation of their department and shift. The ideal candidate will have average or better computer knowledge; strong mechanical aptitude; excellent problem solving skills; good communication skills; proven leadership and team building skills.
Responsibilities:
Directing and supervising the activities of 15+ hourly associates
Scheduling work assignments
Initiating improvement efforts
The continued operation of equipment with minimal downtime
The manufacture of quality products at minimal costs
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience in plastic injection molding
Knowledge of quality management and safety practices strongly preferred
Ability & willingness to work off-shifts and on weekends
