Growing aluminum extrusion company with multiple locations is seeking a professional, motivated, experienced Sales Representative who will promote this company and increase sales in current and new markets. This position is located in the Midwest.
EXPECTATIONS
* Results driven, must demonstrate effective sales performance
* Be aggressive in finding new opportunities and applications for aluminum extrusion and fabrication
* Work with the plant/operations team to land new business
* Maintain a healthy pipeline of new prospects
* Attend/man trade shows specific to business and target markets
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
* Prepare timely/professional reports and presentations (forecast, budget, prospects, and business plans, etc.)
* Maintain close contact and communication with the Sales Manager and operations team
* Sales territory includes Michigan, northern IN, northwest OH, Chicago and surrounding areas, and maybe southern Wisconsin
* STRONGLY prefers someone currently residing in central Michigan
SKILLS / EDUCATION
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in aluminum sales of extrusions and fabrications
* Bachelors degree
* Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
* Ability to multi task, prioritize and work both independently and within a team
* Competent in related technical skills (prints, alloys, extrusion/fabrication processes, etc.)
* Strong working knowledge of computer software and online applications
