Join a large and growing division of a high quality global supplier of quality plastic blow-molded and injection-molded parts as an Injection Process Engineering Technician.  Must have prior experience as Process Technician, Mold Technician OR equivalent education.

Job Responsibilities of the Process Engineering Technician for Plastic Injection Molding and Blow Molding:
  • Technical support and troubleshooting for plastic injection molding, blow molding and rubber molding processes.
  • Technical support of molds, mold processing and tooling improvements from new model stage through mass production including communication with internal and external customers and vendors as required.
  • Establish and document best engineering practices to support the molding processes.
  • Train mold technicians how to properly startup machines and how to troubleshoot and resolve processing issues.
  • Remove, investigate and report on damaged production molds.  Install repaired molds.
What you will need to be successful as a Process Engineering Technician for Plastic Injection Molding and Blow Molding:
  • Associates Degree in Engineering or Plastic Engineering Technology preferred or relevant training or certifications such as RJG Master Molding certification.
  • Prior experience as a Mold Technician or Process Technician for a plastic injection-molding or blow-molding manufacturer.
  • MS Excel and MS Word proficiency.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work off-shifts and additional hours as required.  Ability to be on call for emergencies.
