Your unique role with the company: You will report to the Manufacturing Director and assist in all areas of production and testing required. You will travel around multiple plant locations ensuring best processing practices within twin screw extrusion processing of mostly different engineered materials and thermoplastics. In this role you will work in conjunction with R&D on existing products, product modifications and new products to evaluate process capabilities and recommend our clients manufacturing line selection to achieve optimal process and product quality that meet and exceed customer expectations. You will review new formulations to verify processing capability within our manufacturing needs and review old formulation in order to improve efficiency and profitability.
Working from locations either in Heath Ohio or Terre Haute Indiana.
What we are looking for in a Candidate:
  • B.S. Degree, Polymer, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering Preferred
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in processing Engineered Thermoplastic colors with Twin Screw Extrusion required
  • Overnight travel up to 35% including travel to Canada and Mexico
  • Good Analytical / Problem Solving Skills related to product and process required.
