Plant Manager – Injection Molding, Packaging

Your role within this organization: will be as the strategic leader and coach who can effectively communicate the expectations from the top down. You will help implement world-class manufacturing systems and procedures to overcome operational, quality, and safety challenges. You will also be the driving force in bringing up the plant culture and setting KPI’s and motivating the team to meet common goals. You will lead six sigma initiatives like Kaizen events, 5s, etc and be responsible for the full P&L for the company’s largest US facility. The Plant Manager in this facility will report to the regional Director of Operations for the US.
To be successful in this role:
  • Technical Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology preferred or MBA/Business Management
  • 7 years or more in packaging –injection molding preferred for preforms or packaging applications
  • Strong in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or other Six Sigma strategies
  • Proven success in driving performance management, operational efficiencies, safety, and quality.
  • Superb communicator with proven success in employee morale improvement
  • Highly motivated, independent and self-sufficient leader that can be detail orientated to get the job done and take care of the team
Position will be based in the Greater Chicago, IL area.
