Injection Mold Team Lead

JOB FUNCTION AND SCOPE
Responsible for leading the plastic Injection Molding department, including all daily duties regarding support, equipment, and processes.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Create and maintain all Injection Molding machine processes
  2. Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of molding problems
  3. Set-up and tear-down of molds
  4. Use and care of all auxiliary equipment & robots in mold shop
  5. All set-up, start-up and shut-down procedures
  6. Perform 5S audits
  7. Training new employees and training reinforcement when necessary

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    Required:
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent.  
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ prior injection molding experience.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
