General Manager
Full accountability for management and development of a 30 to 40 million dollar Division.
Develops business strategies with regards to operations and business planning.
Together with the Finance Department, responsible for achievement of annual budget and forecast for order intake, expenses.
Ensures that the overall Profit and Loss and Profit Margin of the Division is achieved.
Manages, maintains and builds strong relationships with customers/ working partners.
Maximizes customer value and satisfaction by providing sound solutions.
Ensures customer satisfaction is met, including fast response to inquiries and proper handling of customer feedback.
Ensures and maintains quality of product and services.
Establishes policies that promote Division culture and vision.
Effectively retains, leads, motivates and develops employees. Builds relationships across departments to enhance employee engagement and build company culture.
Oversees Division’s Talent Management Program. Retains “A”-Performers. Builds succession planning.
Makes constant improvement of internal processes and procedures.
Ensures compliance with Corporate policies.
Drives Operational excellence through business automation, vigorous adherence to quality standards and utilization of best practices by facilitating communications across the Division.
 
Requirement Profile
Formal education: Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management
or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
 
Professional Experience
Strong general management skills as demonstrated by a minimum of 5 years of successful P&L management at progressing level of complexity in a custom manufacturing environment, preferably dealing with and supplying Tier 1 automotive customers.
Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence through rigorous cost management, systems development, process improvements and focus on capital/inventory efficiency.
Strong financial acumen, with depth of understanding P&Ls, income statements and balance sheets.
Demonstrated success driving a continuous improvement culture and as an organizational change agent.
