Job Description
This is an opportunity to join a multinational tire company as the Corporate Tire Engineer.  This individual will have significant exposure to all Senior Management of the company.  The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering.   At least eight years experience in tire design and/or other technical positions.  Will have knowledge of Field Tire experience, Project Management, Process Development, plant experience, Tire Design experience, cross functional teams.

This person will be technically degreed, will have at least seven years in Plant Tire Technical work and tire design/construction, field work, etc.

This person will be responsible for assisting the corporation in defining market trends, design performance, evaluating tire performance, evaluating competitor tires, develop and track.  This person will need to have good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.  This position will require close contact with Sales, Marketing, Tire Designers, Dealers, etc.  Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing.  Travel would be about 20% of the time.

This position is not in LA but in a nearby city.
