We are an engineering company with our core technology of over 40 years being applied to processes requiring drying, mixing, and reacting of viscus, sticky and crumbly products.  Today our technology is well recognized in process industries, especially in polymers and elastomers. Our manufacturing is done by a third party our typical units are $1-20MM project and our customers are typically fortune 500 company with some projects taking  
6-10 years. We are very stable, fostering creative and innovative thinking. The Process Engineer is a high visibility position and will be responsible for:
  • Preparation of proposals for company technology and related products.
  • Work will include, but not limited to preparing, conducting and analyzing pilot test work with subsequent scale up calculations, technology application, feasibility study, pricing of systems, and preparation of process and mechanical specifications to accompany the proposal.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer contact on all proposal and test work related matters.
  • This position requires frequent travel to visit existing and potential customers for proposal follow up, lead qualification, presentations, seminars, trade shows, etc.
  •   At time of order award, review sales order for technical and commercial accuracy and review orders with the Process Engineering Manager when problems are observed.
  • Initiate new order kick off with assigned project engineer and assist on all after order process and commercial related issues.
  • Assist in the process start up of systems supplied.

EDUCATION:                        PhD or MS degree prefered. Polymer Science, Plastics Engineering or Chemical Engineering. BSChE with chemical process background.
 
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:          Process engineering and experience in selling capital equipment.
                                                Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.
 
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:              Minimum five (5) years relevant experience.
